Black Dragon Elite 7s Training and Tryouts

For any Harlequins or generic rugby athlete looking to take there game to the next level, the Harlequins sister 7s club The Black Dragons is beginning summer training in preparation for the Denver 7s competition.
The Black Dragons are an elite level 7s team established 2014 for the cultivation of rugby athletes in America.  They have competed in the Las Vegas 7s Invitational Elite brackets, Rugbytown 7s, Kansas City 7s, and Denver 7s since 2015.  The club will tentatively be training every Sunday at Willow Creek Park throughout the summer.  If you would like to test your skills against some of the best talent in the world, then come out for a run.

Practice Shifts to Cook

Starting on Tuesday, April 4th, Denver Harlequins Rugby will move to our home pitch (field) for practice. 6-8pm, at Cook Park.
Practices will continue at this time/location, Tuesday and Thursday nights, until summer sevens starts.

Denver Harlequins & Colo. Rush Pre-Season Practice

On Saturday, March 4th, the Denver Harlequins and the Colorado Rush will be holding practice together at Parkfield Lake Park, 2-4pm.

Practice Shifts

Starting on Tuesday, Feb. 14, Denver Harlequins Rugby will move outdoors for practice. 7-9pm, at APS Stadium.
Practices will continue at this time/location, Tuesday and Thursday nights, until we can move to Cook Park. Please spread the word.

Winter Outdoor Practice


Winter Practice Starts

The Denver Harlequins Rugby Team’s first indoor practice for the spring season will be Jan. 17th, 7-9pm. Mark your calendars and clear your schedules. It is open to all men over 18, regardless of experience or ability. If you want to play rugby, the Denver Harlequins want you!

We are inside the gym (south of the main entrance); wear tennis shoes/trainers. Park in the east parking lot at the front of the school.

Please ensure that you have red and blue training tops (1 of each) or a light and dark training top for each session.
Practices will continue at that time and location every Tuesday and Thursday until we can go outside (Feb. 16).
