Breckenridge, CO -- A beautiful spring-like day in the rocky mountains played host to the 1999 St Valentine's Day Massacre hosted by the Breckenridge Blue Goose rugby team. The conditions began perfect for this annual tournament, the fields were freshly groomed by borrowed snow cats from the ski area.

Aftering opening the tournament by beating the Highlanders three trys to none, the hot weather and sloppy field conditions had the Harlequins lose to Defience by one try and get shut out by 2nd place Colorado Springs.
