The match report won't be its regular fascinating read, as the author took a shot to the temple, and didn't get to see the end of the first side, let alone much of the second side.

Regardless, on a great afternoon for rugby, the Quins were hosted in the cross-creek derby by the Denver Highlanders. A strong start by the Quins saw 2 tries called back at the last minute by the referee for forward passes, with Mike Smith finally breaching the line on the third attempt.

The Highlanders were then able to score a pair of tries, to take the lead in the game for the rest of it. The next Quin try was the work of some strong backline movements, well supported by the Harlequin forwards. A last effort to bring the game back to the men in red and blue came on a quick tap off a penatly, shuttled through to the wing, where wing Charlie Olumo was able to take the corner and score a try.
