The Denver Harlequins Rugby Club is proud to announce the appointment of David Lausa as Head Coach. Dave joined the Quins coaching staff in 2011 as head backs coach. He was instrumental in crafting the Quins current dynamic backline play.
Dave began his rugby career at Yale University and went on to hone his skills over the following 20 years with the Albany Knickerbockers, a Division 1 team in upstate New York. He has experience playing in both the forwards and the backs, however the majority of his career was at fullback. His wealth of rugby knowledge and passion for player development make him a valuable asset for athletes new to the sport, as well as, elite players looking to improve.
Dave has assembled a group of assistant coaches and specialists to assist with the leadership and growth of the team. David Lausa’s commitment, leadership, innovation and vision are certain to position the Denver Harlequins for success, both on and off the pitch.
